Our church, Ethiopian Evangelical Church Baltimore gives priority to the Kingdom of God. We put God first in all the things that we do and we do everything that we do for the glory of God. We strive to chase the heart of God, to know and do His will.

We also believe that God's ultimate purpose is us and you, people whom he created in His own image and to whom He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ so that through Him all of us can get an eternal life. We believe God's agenda on earth are people. Therefore we love people and have the at most respect for them. All of us are created for a purpose, and that purpose is to become the children of God through His Son Jesus and worship Him for ever and ever. Amen!

We also believe that God's purpose for His children is to become a whole person, mature in all aspects of life. For that reason we encourage and nurture our members to grow and attain maturity in their spiritual life, in their marital life, in their career, in their social life, in their health and in their financials.

We also have a compassionate heart to the lost, to those who do not yet know Christ as their savior personally. For this reason we labor to reach the lost and to bring them to the family of God through prayer and evangelism.

We are also compassionate about people who have needs of the basic necessities of life. In this regard we strive to be involved in mission works, to reach out to the needy and try to supply their basic need of life.
